Do you know what processing methods we often say about mold processing?
(1) Injection molding
The plastic is first added to the heating barrel of the injection machine. After the plastic is heated and melted, it is pushed into the mold cavity through the nozzle and the mold casting system under the push of the injection machine screw or the plunger, and becomes an injection molded product after being hardened and shaped. Thermoplastic injection molding has a short molding cycle, high efficiency, and low mold wear, and can form various plastic parts with complicated shapes, high surface pattern definition and high dimensional precision in large quantities;
(2) compression molding
Compression molding is one of the first methods of molding plastic parts. Compression molding is to directly add plastic to an open mold cavity with a certain temperature, and then close the mold, and the plastic melts into a flowing state under the action of heat and pressure. The plastic is hardened into a plastic part having a certain shape and size and maintained at a constant temperature;
(3) Extrusion molding
The plastic in a viscous state is passed through a die having a specific sectional shape at a high temperature and a certain pressure, and then shaped into a desired sectional shape at a lower temperature. The production process of extrusion molding is to prepare molding materials, extrusion molding, cooling setting, drawing and cutting, and post-processing of extrusion products (tempering or heat treatment). In the extrusion molding process, it is necessary to adjust the process parameters such as the temperature of the heating section of the extruder barrel and the die of the machine head, the number of revolutions of the screw, the traction speed, etc. in order to obtain a qualified extruded profile;
(4) Cast moulding
Casting molding is to add plastic raw materials into the preheating feeding chamber, then put the pressing column into the feeding chamber to lock the mold, apply pressure to the plastic through the pressing column, and the plastic melts into a flowing state under high temperature and high pressure, and passes through the pouring system. The cavity is gradually solidified into a plastic part;
(5) Hollow molding
The tubular or sheet material obtained by extrusion or injection and still in a plasticized state is fixed in the molding die, and the compressed air is immediately introduced to force the material to expand and stick to the wall surface of the mold cavity. After cooling and setting, the mold is released, which is a processing method of the desired hollow product.
